Susan's Blueberry Pie

3 Cups Frozen blueberries (unsweetened)
Blueberry juice from drained berries + water to equal ½ cup liquid
¾ cup sugar
2 T cornstarch
2 T Tapioca
1 tsp lemon juice

Thaw berries. Reserve juice and add water to equal to ½ cup.
Stir into liquid, mixture of sugar tapioca, and cornstarch in saucepan.
Heat rapidly- Stirring until thickened. Add berries and lemon juice.
Pour into 9” pie shell . Cover with crust. Bake at 400 degrees
30-35 minutes.

It doesn’t work as well with fresh berries.
